We can now offer advice, guidance, and maps on suitable walks in the forest of dean for those who wish to get out and enjoy the forest at a slightly slower pace. Our cafe and centre is ideally situated in the village of parkend offering scenic walks around the old village and surrounding woodland, as well as being only a short walk away from the popular nagshead bird reserve, which offers peaceful marked routes perfect for taking in all the wildlife.
For anyone living in and around the forest of dean we are pleased to support the walk for health
groups in the Area. There are a number of groups walking weekly from different locations around the forest.
However we aim to be more than welcoming in our cafe to all that wish to attend the monday group leaving from our cafe.
