Whatever your kid’s ages, the Forest of Dean promises to be an unforgettable experience. The Family Cycle Trail is a traffic-free route through the forest with no big hills and plenty to keep the kids entertained.
Looking to hire a kid’s bike to ride in the Forest of Dean? Our kid’s hire bikes are a great option for days out with the whole family – and we’ve also got tag-alongs, kids and dogs trailers, tow-ropes and everything else you might need for a fun day out with riders of all ages.

Equivalent bikes may be substituted depending on availability.
Refunds can only be given on cancellations made 7 days or more prior to the hire date.
Customers must show photo ID with name and address on collection of bikes/equipment.
Customers must leave either a photo driving license or passport in the hirer’s name as security for the duration of the hire period. Full suspension or eBikes require two forms of security.

A gradual climb up to Coleford and a cruisy downhill back to Dean Forest Cycles for Coffee. Another great route for all ages and abilities on surfaced tracks.
The Wye Valley Greenway

A 7km traffic-free family route from the National Diving Centre to beautiful Tintern, taking in the Wye Valley and 1km long Tidenham tunnel.

A 12km traffic-free family route from Symonds Yat to historic Monmouth, with stunning views, Arthurian legends and birds of prey.
